How to Stain Wood with Fabric Dye!

Let me show you a simple way to stain wood with colored fabric dye! There's a wide range of colors you can choose from (and unlimited custom mixed options) and you can even thin it down for lighter and darker shades. From what I understand, it could possibly fade under lots of sunlight, so keep that in mind. You should be able to protect it with a wide range of clear top coats as well (poly, la...

Great video. I'm planning to use shoe polish to darken some parts of my guitar bare wood to make it look 'aged". Would you recommend using the one you use in in your video or would the paste that comes in the circular tin can be better? I plan to mix it with a little water and then use an art brush to paint the small bare wood areas around the guitar. Thanks...

Plywood will not expand or contract because of the way the wood fibers are interlocked. Just learned that from another UA-camr.

There is one problem I can see with this build. If you use a cutting board and any liquid or juice runs off the edge it will go through the spaces in the wood top and run all over anything that's on the lower shelf. Not to mention you would not be able to clean the small spaces between the boards.

I'm going to go against the crowd here and say this looks dangerous to me. If this has to carry a snow load, it'd collapse and kill someone. All of the weight of the awning is resting on the shear strength of your (6) 2.5" screws. They don't have much shear strength, so they'll happily snap. Don't build this way anywhere that gets snow.

Thanks for sharing your rustic metal information very helpful when deciding how rusty you would like to make your new metal look rustic. Vinegar and salt works. Meurotic acid and Hydrogen peroxide also works, and I wouldn't recommend working with meurotic acid if you don't have to because it's a dangerous chemical but you will definitely get a really rusty product on your new metal rusty metal has become very popular in creating that rustic look I've always liked the older rustic look and it's not as easy to find rusty metal because everyone is looking for the old rusty metal for projects. God-bless.
